10 Best Loan Management Systems in Kenya (2026), Compared with Pricing
Choosing a loan management system in Kenya is hard because most vendors don't publish prices and most "best of" lists are written by a vendor ranking itself first. This one is written by a vendor too. Lendpoint publishes it, so treat our own entry with healthy scepticism. We have tried to be fair: every vendor is judged on the same criteria, prices come from each vendor's public website as of October 2026, and where something isn't public we say so rather than guess.

How we compared them
We used the criteria that matter most to Kenyan lenders, from our complete guide to loan management systems in Kenya:
- M-Pesa: native disbursement and automatic repayment matching.
- Fit: whether the system is built for your type of institution and your loan products.
- Price transparency: whether you can know the cost before a sales call, in KES.
- Scope: lending only, or savings, shares and full core banking.
- Try before you buy: a trial or a public demo.
The 10 systems in detail
1. Lendpoint
Best for: SACCOs, MFIs and digital lenders whose main workload is lending.
Lendpoint is a cloud loan management system built in Kenya. M-Pesa B2C disbursement, Paybill (C2B) matching and STK push are part of the core system. Borrowers can use USSD, a branded portal or a mobile app. Products support weekly, bi-weekly and monthly installments, bullet loans, and flat or reducing-balance interest. Collections, penalties and rollovers follow your policy automatically, with a full audit trail. Pricing is published: KES 5,000 per month (Starter) and KES 8,000 per month for multi-branch lenders (Professional), plus a one-time KES 10,000 onboarding fee.
Watch-outs: Lendpoint does not run savings, shares or dividends. Those are coming in our SaccoPoint product, so a SACCO needing everything in one system today should look elsewhere or run Lendpoint alongside its savings system. It is also younger than Musoni or Craft Silicon, with a customer base of 50+ lenders.

2. Fibo360
Best for: small and mid-size SACCOs, MFIs and chamas that want savings and loans together at a known price.
Fibo360, from Brainvalley Technologies, offers separate SACCO, microfinance and chama modules, with M-Pesa C2B and B2C. It is one of the few Kenyan vendors that publishes prices: from KES 58,000 a year for up to 350 members to KES 120,000 a year for up to 1,000, excluding VAT and user training. A lifetime licence is available by quotation. Its public demo lets you click around before talking to sales.
Watch-outs: pricing is tiered by member count, so check the cost as you grow past 1,000 members. Training is extra.
3. Presta
Best for: SACCOs and MFIs adding mobile lending through USSD and an app.
Presta, founded in 2017 and part of Workpoint, is a long-standing Kenyan lending platform. Its LMS offers lending over USSD and an app, a configurable credit appraisal engine and M-Pesa and bank integrations.
Watch-outs: pricing isn't published, so expect a sales conversation to get a quote.
4. Kwara
Best for: SACCOs that want to offer members a full digital banking experience.
Kwara is a Nairobi fintech offering SACCOs core banking with member-facing mobile banking, remote onboarding, deposits and instant loans. A distribution agreement with KUSCCO gives it wide reach among Kenyan SACCOs.
Watch-outs: it is a broader core banking product than a pure LMS, and pricing is by quote.
5. Musoni
Best for: established MFIs that want a proven, cloud-based system.
Musoni grew out of a Kenyan microfinance institution and is built on the open-source Mifos X platform. It covers clients, loans, savings, accounting and reporting, with M-Pesa and Airtel Money integration, and is used by MFIs across East Africa.
Watch-outs: pricing depends on institution size. Software listings show plans from about €15,000 a year, which puts it above what most small lenders spend.
6. Saccotek (Kangai Technologies)
Best for: SACCOs that prefer owning a licence over subscribing.
Saccotek covers member accounts, loans, accounting, a members' portal, USSD and bulk SMS, with M-Pesa and integrations with several Kenyan banks. It is one of the few vendors offering a one-off purchase, with the licence transferred to you, as well as a subscription. Integration timelines are published: 3–7 working days for M-Pesa and 14–45 for banks.
Watch-outs: the system price is by quote, although SMS and Sender ID costs are published.
7. BANKFUSE (Movetech Solutions)
Best for: MFIs and SACCOs that want a modular, locally supported system.
BANKFUSE covers group, individual and SME loans, savings and deposits, credit scoring and reporting, with M-Pesa, Airtel Money and bank integrations.
Watch-outs: there's little public detail on pricing or USSD, so ask for both early.
8. Loandisk
Best for: small lenders who want an inexpensive, simple global tool and can live without native M-Pesa.
Loandisk is a widely used cloud loan tracker with clear pricing, from USD 59 a month for one user up to USD 346 for unlimited users, and a generous 45-day free trial.
Watch-outs: M-Pesa isn't listed among its integrations, so repayments may need manual or third-party reconciliation. Prices are in US dollars, so your cost moves with the exchange rate.
9. Lendsqr
Best for: digital lenders that want an app-first platform and a free starting plan.
Lendsqr, which grew out of Nigeria, offers a free plan and paid plans at USD 50 and USD 150 a month, with decision models, a customer web app and an optional white-label mobile app.
Watch-outs: its pricing page doesn't mention M-Pesa, so confirm Kenyan payment support before committing.
10. Mifos X
Best for: institutions with in-house technical capacity.
Mifos X is open-source core banking for microfinance, free to license. Several Kenyan partners host and implement it, including M-Pesa integration.
Watch-outs: "free" covers only the licence. Implementation, hosting, customisation, migration and support are real costs, and they usually land with a partner.
What about Craft Silicon, Temenos and other core banking systems?
Large deposit-taking SACCOs, microfinance banks and banks often run full core banking systems such as Craft Silicon or Temenos. These are powerful, but they cost and take far more to implement than a loan management system. If your risk and workload sit mainly in lending, a dedicated LMS is usually the faster and cheaper fit. See LMS vs core banking vs Excel.
Which system should you choose?
- You mainly lend, and want M-Pesa automation at a known KES price: Lendpoint.
- You are a small SACCO or chama needing savings and loans at a published price: Fibo360.
- You want to own a licence outright: Saccotek.
- You are a SACCO wanting full digital banking for members: Kwara.
- You are an established MFI with budget for a proven platform: Musoni.
- You have your own IT team: Mifos X with a local partner.
Whichever you shortlist, ask each vendor the same questions: the total yearly cost in KES including SMS and onboarding, how M-Pesa repayments are matched, how long migration takes, and whether you can test it with your own loan products first.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best loan management system in Kenya?
There is no single best system. It depends on whether you mainly lend or also take deposits, your size and your budget. For credit-focused lenders that need M-Pesa automation at a published KES price, Lendpoint is a strong fit. For SACCOs needing savings and shares too, look at Fibo360, Saccotek, Kwara or Musoni.
How much does loan management software cost in Kenya?
Published prices range from about KES 5,000 a month (Lendpoint) and KES 58,000 a year (Fibo360) to around €15,000 a year for Musoni, according to software listings. Many vendors only quote on request. Budget separately for SMS, onboarding and training.
Which loan management systems integrate with M-Pesa?
Lendpoint, Fibo360, Presta, Musoni, Saccotek and BANKFUSE all list M-Pesa integration. Global tools such as Loandisk and Lendsqr don't list it on their pricing pages, so confirm before buying.
Is there free loan management software in Kenya?
Mifos X is free to license but costs money to implement and host. Lendsqr has a free plan. Lendpoint offers a 7-day free trial and Loandisk a 45-day one, so you can test before paying.
