LendPoint vs Fibo360: Pricing and Features for Kenyan Lenders (2026)

Fibo360 and LendPoint are both Kenyan cloud systems for lenders, and both come up when SACCOs and microfinance lenders search for software. Fibo360 covers SACCOs, microfinance institutions and chamas, and prices by member count on annual plans. LendPoint is built for lenders, around M-Pesa, and prices by month with no cap on clients.

This comparison uses each company's public pages as of November 2026. LendPoint publishes it, so we've included where Fibo360 is the better choice too.

What the pricing works out to

Fibo360's microfinance Standard plan is KES 58,000 a year for up to 350 clients, before 16% VAT (about KES 67,280 with it) and before user training. LendPoint's Starter plan is KES 50,000 a year with no client limit, plus the one-time KES 10,000 onboarding fee in the first year.

The gap widens as you grow. A lender with 800 clients would need Fibo360's Enterprise tier, KES 120,000 a year before VAT (about KES 139,200 with it). On LendPoint, the client count doesn't change the price: KES 50,000 on Starter, or KES 80,000 on Professional if you run several branches.

For a small lender who will stay under 350 clients, the difference is small, and you should compare features rather than price.

Where LendPoint is stronger

M-Pesa runs the loan, not just the records

  • Approved loans go to the borrower's phone through the M-Pesa B2C API.
  • Paybill repayments are matched to the right loan automatically through C2B, using the loan number or the borrower's ID as the account.
  • You can send an STK push for the exact installment, so the borrower only enters their PIN.

Every payment posts to the general ledger with the balance before and after. Read how M-Pesa repayment automation works.

Borrowers can reach you on any phone

LendPoint has a USSD menu for balances, statements and repayments, plus the LendPoint mobile app on Google Play and a web portal. Borrowers on feature phones aren't left out.

Collections tools for lenders

Daily, missed and past-maturity collection sheets by branch or loan officer. SMS reminders before, on and after the due date. Penalty rules with grace periods and caps, penalty waivers, early settlement quotes, rollovers and write-offs, all in the audit log. See loan repayment software for the detail.

No member ceiling

You never move to a bigger plan because you added borrowers. That matters for a fast-growing micro lender or digital lender with many small loans.

Where Fibo360 is stronger

  • Chamas and self-help groups. Fibo360 has a dedicated chama plan from KES 1,000 a month. LendPoint is built for lenders, not group savings.
  • SACCO savings. Fibo360 positions itself as a full SACCO system. If you need the full member savings side of a SACCO, include it in your demo questions for both.
  • Try before you sign up. Fibo360's demo system and self-service portal are open to browse. LendPoint's trial needs a short sign-up, though you then test with your own loans.
  • Lifetime licence option. Fibo360 quotes one-off lifetime licences. LendPoint is subscription only.

Which should you choose?

  • Choose Fibo360 if you run a chama or welfare group, or a SACCO that wants a single vendor for savings and loans and will stay within a member tier.
  • Choose LendPoint if lending is your business: you disburse and collect through M-Pesa, want collection sheets and reminders that run themselves, and don't want your price tied to how many clients you have.

Either way, ask both vendors to show you a full loan in a demo: disbursement to M-Pesa, a partial Paybill repayment, an overdue penalty and an early payoff. Start a LendPoint trial and run that test yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Fibo360 cost?

Fibo360's public pricing page lists SACCO and microfinance plans at KES 58,000 a year (up to 350 members or clients), KES 96,000 (up to 700) and KES 120,000 (up to 1,000), excluding 16% VAT and user training. Chama plans start at KES 1,000 a month for up to 50 members.

How much does LendPoint cost?

KES 5,000 a month (Starter) or KES 8,000 a month (Professional, multi-branch), or KES 50,000 and KES 80,000 a year, plus a one-time KES 10,000 onboarding fee. Both plans include unlimited clients and a 7-day free trial.

Does LendPoint have a chama module?

No. LendPoint is loan management software for SACCOs, microfinance institutions and lenders. For chama contributions and merry-go-rounds, a chama-specific tool fits better.

Can I move my data from Fibo360 to LendPoint?

Yes. Export your borrowers and running loans to Excel, and LendPoint's onboarding team imports them in bulk with balances as they stand, as part of the onboarding fee.

Which is better for a microfinance lender in Kenya?

It depends on size and how you collect. LendPoint suits lenders who disburse and collect through M-Pesa and expect to grow past a few hundred clients. Fibo360 suits organisations that also need chama or SACCO savings features within its member tiers.
